Reception Lighting

Sorry for the late post today. I’m feeling Kimberlee on it being one of those “struggle” days. Not a bad day at all. Just moving in slow motion.

If you haven’t already checked out the new EAD Community, you definitely need to! On a personal note, I just posted a topic about lighting for our reception, and I’d love any feedback you have.

To summarize, I definitely love this look from Martha:

With red water instead of blue. Maybe not vintage enough? Then again, isn’t the point of staying away from a theme to be able to use things that don’t “exactly” fit the “theme?”

I’m trying to figure out what else to do to add light. Strings of lights or lanterns are out without some type of elaborate rigging system. Pillars or tapers in vases or hurricane shades are very much in. Other than that? Not so sure at the moment.

Thoughts?
