Another Untraditional Planner Bride

One of my favorite weekly reads is the NY Times Vows feature. I love reading about all the different couples and what they chose for their celebration! This week, they featured a bride after my own heart — an event planner who got married and DIDN’T do a huge shindig! In fact, she had just 80 people, and wore a gunmetal gray evening gown, rather than a traditional wedding dress! Maybe it’s something about spending your time doing this for other people that makes some planners want to do the exact opposite for their wedding? I mean, I’ve certainly seen plenty of planners who wed in an elaborate, over-the-top ceremony, but it was refreshing to see someone else who chose to go the less traditional route. I’m not alone!
